June marks the official start of summer in the Northeast. The days are long, the temperatures are warm (sometimes hot), and humidity starts creeping up. After months of preparation, now you just maintain.
This isn’t the time for major projects—you want to be enjoying the weather, not working through it. Focus on keeping things running smoothly: AC filters, pest control, and lawn care. A little regular attention prevents big problems.

1. AC Monthly Maintenance 🔧

Your AC is running regularly now. Keep it efficient with monthly filter changes.
Replace or clean filters—this is the single most important thing you can do for AC efficiency. Clogged filters reduce airflow, making your system work harder and cost more to run. Clear any debris from around the outdoor unit. Listen for unusual sounds that could indicate problems.
